Dr. John M. Virgo, Professor and Executive Vice President Dr. Virgo founded the International Atlantic Economic Society in 1973, served as its President from 1973-76, and since then has been the Executive Vice President. He has written over 50 published articles, four books, and several monographs. In addition, he has been a consultant to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, U.S. Department of Labor, State of California, State of Virginia, State of Illinois, and numerous regional private and public groups. In Paris, in 1983, he also founded the International Health Economics and Management Institute, where he served as Chief Executive Officer until 1987 and on the Board of Directors from 1987-90. |

Sarah McMahon, Journal Coordinator Sarah is a sophomore at the Georgia Institute of Techonolgy where she is studying for a B.S. degree within the Ivan Allen College. She enjoys economics, mathematics, computer science, and she wants to learn the publishing business. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, learning Italian, and exploring Atlanta. |

Kristen Elsaesser , Journal Coordinator Kristen is a senior at the Georgia Institute of Technology where she is obtaining a B.S. in International Affairs and Modern Languages (Spanish) with a concentration in Finance. In her free time she enjoys reading, listening to music, running, soccer, playing piano, spending time with family and friends, and learning and experiencing new things. |

Caitlin Croteau, Conference Coordinator Caitlin is a senior at the Georgia Institute of Technology, majoring in International Affairs with concentrations in French and Marketing. As the conference coordinator, she cannot wait to travel to Prague for the IAES conference in March. In her free time, she loves running marathons, trying new restaurants, spending time with friends and family, and working on her book. |

Margaret McFarland , Assistant Conference Coordinator Margaret is a senior at the Georgia Institute of Technology, College of Management. She is focusing on Marketing and Finance. In her free time, Margaret enjoys swimming, playing board games, taking photographs, and traveling with her family. She is eager to travel to Charleston with the IAES for her first visit ever! |
