Boston is the capital and the largest city in the state of Massachusetts, and is one of the oldest cities in the United States. As Boston is the largest city in New England, it is considered the economic and cultural center of the entire region.

Home to many firsts and beginning of the United States. Boston is the first city to have a public school, college, and subway system in the United States. It is also the site of many major American Revolution Events.

Join us as we commemorate 36 years of advancing the careers of economists around the globe. John Y. Campbell , President, and Leszek Balcerowicz, Vice President, invite you to submit a paper for consideration on the program. Economists from over 40 countries have been invited to take part in the anniversary celebration. The conference will take place at the Omni Parker House located in the heart of downtown Boston. Sessions will be held Friday - Sunday, 9-11 October.
