As our May 2020 member of the month, the Society is happy to welcome IAES Professor Carmen Díaz-Roldán, she is currently on the Executive Committee. Dr. Díaz-Roldán specializes in International Economics, Macroeconomic Modelling and Public Economics and is working on the design of policy tools that contribute to the proper interaction of economic policies.  read more>>>

As our July 2020 member of the month, the Society is happy to welcome IAES Dr. Edward Nketiah-Amponsah. Professor Amponsah is currently focusing on estimating the costs and benefits of three malaria interventions in Ghana. We share in collective mourning at Ansgar Belke’s passing away on July 22, 2020. He was an Executive Committee member of the International Atlantic Economic Society (2015-2018) as well as  a Best Undergraduate Paper Award judge, reading over undergraduate papers and reviewing them. Dr. Belke was a bright man, always finding a way to help someone with his words or his time. We at the International Atlantic Economic Society hope to honor his memory. read more>>>

As our November 2020 member of the month, the Society is happy to welcome IAES Dr. Debby Lindsey-Taliefero. Debby Lindsey-Taliefero is a Professor of Business Economics in the Department of Finance at Howard University.  She received her Ph.D. in Economics from Howard University in 1983.  She has the distinction of being the first African-American female to obtain a doctorate in Economics at Howard University.
