His research areas include labor economics, health economics, applied economics, and applied statistics. Why did you become a member of the International Atlantic Economic Society?

I read some articles in the Atlantic Economic Journal (AEJ) and learned about the International Atlantic Economic Society (IAES). The resources provided by the IAES enable me to keep up with emerging trends in my fields and share research ideas with my colleagues.

What types of projects/research are you currently working on and what inspired/motivated you to pursue these interests?

I am currently working on several research projects related to health economics. I am interested in applying economic modelling and statistical methods to address health-related issues and inform decision-making.

What advice would you give to someone who is considering entering your line of work/field of study?

Communicating with experts already in related fields is an effective way of identifying research ideas and improving research skills. Be open-minded and persistent. Stay confident but humble. Take constructive criticism with humility.

Going forward, what other projects/research are you planning to or hoping to pursue?

Other than studies in my current research areas, I hope to engage in pedagogical research in the future, especially student engagement strategies and assessment of student learning.

What’s your favorite hobby?

I enjoy playing tennis.
