Why did you become a member of the International Atlantic Economic Society?

Because the Society’s mission is closely aligned with my international citizenship as a Greek. In practical terms, being a member of IAEC is about intellectual and career development and fulfilling my role as a scientist, professional and human being.

What types of projects/research are you currently working on, and what inspired/motivated you to pursue these interests?

I am inspired by everything that can improve our lives, such as AI. Besides that, I am working on a wide range of projects, as my publications list shows. Still, I enjoy researching macro-financial linkages, corporate finance, risk analysis, and valuations all of which relate to my professional world.

What advice would you give to someone who is considering entering your line of work/field of study?

Aim high and always try to excel. Where there’s a will, there’s a way.

Going forward, what other projects/research are you looking to or hoping to pursue?

Sustainable finance and valuations.

What’s your favorite hobby?

Reading ancient Greek philosophers, poetry and economic history, and I enjoy surprising my children.
