How to Apply

Currently, the International Atlantic Economic Society provides grants to offset the cost of attending our European meetings for economists living in Eastern Europe, Turkey and Africa. For inquiries regarding grant eligibility for those residing in other countries, please contact iaes@iaes.org 

Letters of application should include:

1. Name
2. Affiliation
3. Rank
4. Paper title (60 character limit)
5. Paper summary (400-500 words)
6. JEL Category number of paper topic (click here for list)
7. Agreement to be a discussant in a session other than the one in which you present a paper
8. JEL Category numbers of paper topics you wish to discuss
9. Current yearly income range: (less than $20,000); ($20,000 – $29,999); ($30,000 – $44,999); (over $45,000)
10. Biographical Sketch limited to 2 pages (e.g., education, key publications)
11. Letter of recommendation from a current IAES member*
